This free training will provide you with an in-depth awareness of two still and nourishing expressions of yoga: yin yoga & restorative yoga. Beyond an overview of yin yoga and restorative yoga respectively, you will also receive more specialist knowledge on the deeper mechanisms of each of these practices. Explore the importance of fascial health in the context of yin yoga, as well as the role of the autonomic nervous system in the benefits of restorative yoga. This knowledge will deepen your understanding and appreciation of these two practices. Beyond theory, you will also have the opportunity to experience a practice of both yin and restorative yoga to feel the differences within your own body. Through this course, you can access lecture-style talks, contemporary research, and short sample practices that distinguish each style.
